My upstairs computer, which is receiving a signal through its adapter: 1.         Installing the Router Driver on your 1st PC : Don't install the D  Link software. Instead, save its drivers to a new folder on your desktop via the  D  Link support   (you can use the drivers included on the CD that came with the router, although the version on D  Link's website may be newer).
